Core Values
It is our desire that our core values will exemplify the kind of leadership character which we hope to instill in others. These include:
- Integrity: living our lives as authentically as possible, adhering to the highest moral principles and professional excellence. Honesty, truthfulness and reliability are essential pillars to integrity. (Titus 2:7-8 NIV)
- Humility: living our lives transparently and modestly, carefully avoiding the temptation of pride and never taking credit for what God alone deserves as He is working in and through us. (Philippians 2:3)
- Sacrifice: extending our lives to serve others by surrendering our lives to the Lord, laying aside our own ambitions and inconveniencing ourselves for the benefit of others. (Romans 12:1 NKJV)
- Love: demonstrating in our words and deeds the love, affection and passion that our Heavenly Father has for each of His children. (Galatians 5:13-14 NIV)
- Generosity: as much as possible we will serve the under-privileged leaders without charge. We believe that the Lord, who has commissioned us, will provide the support we need through those who are captured with our passion and who support our work. (Proverbs 11:24-25)
- Faith: walking in faith, we will strive to remain faithful to the Lord in what He has called us to do and we will trust His faithfulness in taking care of us and watching over all our affairs. (Luke 12:31-32 NKJV)
- Interdependence: we will pursue networking with other ministries and organizations, appreciating and collaborating cross-culturally with indigenous leaders, partnering in ministry endeavors and building the unity of the church whenever possible, as it is appropriate for the covenant community of the Body of Christ. (Romans 12:4-6)
- Dependence: our experience has taught us that we must always be dependent upon the Holy Spirit to accomplish what we have been called to do if we are to have lasting impact in advancing the Kingdom of God and providing a legacy worthy of serving the Lord. (Roman 15:13 NKJV)
